Your room stays yours.

Stillroom has no account, analytics, advertising, or external music service.

Settings on this device

Station, composition, room, and volume preferences are saved in this browser's local storage so they can be here next time. You can clear them by removing site data in your browser settings. If browser storage is blocked, playback still works for this visit.

Links you choose to share

When you copy a room link, it contains the music settings, including music volume, and composition seed needed to describe that composition. It does not include your room choice or room-sound preferences. Anyone who receives the link can read those music settings from its address. Copying is always optional.

Audio and recordings

Music and ambience are synthesized locally in the browser. They are not sent to Stillroom or fetched from another service. WAV export is assembled in the browser and saved to your device after you start it.

Hosting logs

The site is delivered as static files. The hosting provider may process ordinary request data, such as an IP address, to deliver and protect the site. Those delivery logs are governed by the hosting provider's terms and settings.

Stillroom does not promise confidentiality for a shared link. Treat a link like any other link you post or send.
